Pros and cons of CamoGraphy app for iPhone and iPad

CamoGraphy app good for

I’m a savvy manual control user, I have bought and tried all manual camera apps, if you are looking to really use manual control this is the app to use, I believe some people just want to have some apps and they don’t really use them, wether you use it or not this is the one I’m going to use, HDR with more options and colour effects are great , shadow adjustment is really how it meant to be.
First I thought its a marketing gimmick but after a test drive in a trip I find it burns much less battery than others when I record videos or take photos I also used manual controls a few times, Also got many detail options when editing photos and videos, with a lot of photography features and video recording like pause and combining videos. it also works great on my iPad and I got no problem.
It has every thing manual controls with ease of use, HDR with many options, video recording with pause and applying effects and so many more which I don’t remember but I’ll update my review again.
I can say this has been my number one, among all camera apps, it has the most practical and easy to use manual controls. Effects and enhancements are decent
Nice, uncluttered interface and easy to use gestures that reveal photo mode options. The manual controls are conveniently placed. It has enough essential features to be immediate useful when you grab the phone for a quick photo, but is not overwhelming with unnecessary options.
Just downloaded it, tested it and seems like a very good app.

Some bad moments

7/23/16 Updated Review: version 3.6 released. Im not sure I understand the IAP purchase model for this app. Some tools, adjustments and filters, that were free in version 3.4, suddenly became IAPs in 3.5 but only available at some future date. Now in version 3.6, the version 3.5 IAP filters are now all free and the tools that were free are now IAPs, but again only available for sale after August 1st. What is up with that nonsense. At this rate, I would never buy IAPs for fear that the ones I bought would go free and a different set of free effects/tools would suddenly became IAPs. This just seems like a huge scam to me, a "shell game". The app saves at an OK 11.2 mp maximum resolution, and I really like some of the effects and features, but this IAP nonsense is so distracting, and takes away from the quality and features of the app. 7/1/16 Original Review: It seems like almost all of the effects and tools that were previously included in the app, were locked out with the latest 3.5.5 update and are now only available by IAP to get them back! Bad form, developer. I sent a note to the developer immediately after the app was updated informing them of the "issue" I had with the update. I have not had a response. I am still using the earlier 3.5 on my iPad Pro and have access to all of the tools that were bricked by 3.5.5, but at some point Ill just trash the app, as I will not support a developer that pulls these kind of tricks.
I want to like this app but I will wind up deleting it instead. Too bad. If it is not for lack of tutorial information, the links in the help file lead to a nonexistent webpage, or crashing often, or the very unintuitive functions. Too buggy and questionable app to keep.
Many of the options available live in version 2.4 are now post-processing only. HDR is limited to +1 and far from being impressive. Plus numerous crashes. Too bad, used to be a good app. Deleted.
TOTALLY STUPID. It turns my screen sideways and Ive been trying for 2 hours to figure out how to change it. Absolutely junk in this mode I hold the iPad level and the image is sideways
This app used to be great, until they decided to make their HDR camera into a subscription-based model. You now need to pay 99 cents for every 200 shots. What a scam!!!
The slider controls for manual overrides are not limited to the device width, so there is a big room to make more precise selection. Low light setting actually works, and it actually reset back to normal mode.
